Time Lines are a good way to capture the essence of particular period in history. They don’t offer any analysis
as a historian would. What they do offer is a sequence of events and situations about something that has
happened in the past and is of interest to people. The first of our two Time Lines gives the backstory of how
“environment” became integral to the Olympic vision. The second explains how the green games vision was
made a reality during the remediation and rehabilitation of the Homebush Olympic site.
